How long can Macca play?

We usually play between 2 and 2 1/2 hours of live music, usually as 2 sets with a break in between.

How long does Macca take to set up?

Load in, set up and sound check would normally take one to two hours.

Your personal Macca experience has evolved and been developed from thousands of prior performances. Macca have gained a well earned reputation through the bands 12 year history as one act whose musicality and performance delivery does not disappoint. The band was formed from a passion for good music and a desire to express that through dynamic performance and faithful reproduction of your favourite tunes, all with the utmost professionalism.

Where can we see Macca perform?

Although busy with private bookings the band usually plays at a public venue at least once a month in the East Anglia region. See the 'Gig guide'.

Will we need a DJ?

Before the event, the band plays carefully selected background music to set the scene. With prior arrangement we can play your favourite tracks through our high quality sound system to help set the mood.

But why would I choose Macca? (Part 2)

Macca are continually adding new material to their varied repertoire. They pride themselves on the ability to play great songs that span the last 40 years, appealing to young and old alike. This is one of the very reasons that Macca keep getting asked to do many private functions such as weddings, birthdays and corporate events.

Macca has well over 80 years collective experience performing at a variety of different events and venues. The band use high quality, reliable, modern equipment to assist in a smooth running show. Each member enjoys the excitment that only a live music performance can provide and most of all, knowing that you and your party members are having a great time is the reason behind why Macca do what they do.

Will Macca be too loud because my grandma will be there?

The band are accommodating to whatever there clients needs are and work within the brief given. There is a certain intensity that goes hand in hand with live music and it is only natural that as the night progresses, the band and the audience will get more 'lively'.

We want Macca at our event but the venue has 'volume constraints'?

If the potential volume of a full band is too much for your favoured venue, Macca can perform 'acoustically' while still maintaining the excitement of a usual performance from the band. Contact us for more details.
