Had a great night at Corinne's 18th Birthday party in Newmarket on Sat night (10th May). Nice to see lots of family and friends in attendance. That completed a run of 6 gigs for Macca as a 4 piece. We welcome back our singer Jay and his wife Sasha who arrive back from their 6 week vacation to NZ sometime later today.

Fantastic night and turnout at The Green Man, Six Mile Bottom on Saturday 5th- Richard the Landlord got up for a couple of songs also - well, it was his 50th Birthday party! Another great night had by all.

It certainly did cook at the Brook last night - a BIG thanks to work colleagues, friends and fans of Macca who were able to make it to the gig.

Cambridge gig confirmed - the good people at the Brook on Mill rd will play host to Macca on Saturday 8th March. We're expecting a BIG crowd so do come early...oh and by the way, the performance will be filmed for posterity so feel free to wear something (tastefully) outrageous!

Some great gigs happening over the next 6 weeks, check out the 'Gig guide' - currently working on a March performance at a venue in Cambridge, with the intention to film the performance as well. Fingers crossed on that one!
People have been asking about acoustic performances...without giving too much away, imagine the great songs and performance you'd normally expect from the band in a slightly more relaxed and intimate style - especially good for the up and coming warmer weather.

Yesterday saw the band in the studio, recording tracks for the website. Macca were at their most productive with no less than 16 tracks recorded in the space of about 8 hours. Check the 'Multimedia' page to sample the band's efforts and keep an ear out for new additions from time to time.

Another great night (at 'the Green man' in Six mile bottom)...good music, hog roast and excellent company. A special thanks goes out to friends and family that were able to make it to see the show.

Thanks to 'The Bell' in Kennett last night for hosting such an excellent evening, we look forward to playing there sometime in the future.
Looking forward to this saturday at 'The Green Man' - not only great music but a hog roast as well.

December was an exceptionally busy but enjoyable time for the band, finishing on a high with our gig at the White Hart on New Years Eve.
Thank you to all those who supported the band at the various performances held throughout 2007, Macca looks forward to entertaining you in 2008.
The band is taking a well earned break from gigging for the first half of January, however not wanting to rest for too long Macca will be using the time to concentrate on promotional material for the band. This will see the band in front of the camera lens for some funky photos to adorn the website and posters.
Macca are also heading to the studio for promotional video and audio downloads to be available online in February/ March - so keep your eyes (and ears!) glued to the website.
